With experience processing credit, debit and cash transactions for marijuana businesses, J&A designed ShieldPay, a secure ACH payment method, so medical cannabis patients and frequent retail customers can more easily pay for their prescription refills and cannabis products without the need for conventional cash or card.
Through an online signup form, ShieldPay links the cusomer’s bank account directly to any merchant that uses ShieldPay. Patients and frequent retail customers provide their bank account information and create a personalized pin so they can securely purchase their products by simply showing their id (always required in both retail and medical spaces) and typing their personalized pin code.
Merchants love it, as it reduces cash transactions and increases direct deposits, and customers enjoy having options.
